Orange Ginger Iced Tea

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Water

  • 1 tablespoon Ginger grated

  • 2 Green Tea Bags

  • 2 tablespoon Honey (optional or use any sweetener of your choice)

  • 1 cup Orange Juice

  • 1 tablespoon Lime Juice

Directions

  • Boil 2 cups of water along with grated ginger.
  • Remove from heat and steep the green tea bags for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags, and allow it to cool.
  • Mix in the honey, orange juice and lime juice. Stir well so the flavors blend well.
  • Adjust the taste as preferred.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes.
  • Pour the orange ginger iced tea over the ice.
  • Garnish with orange slices and mint sprigs, if desired.

Notes

  • Ginger Intensity: For a stronger ginger flavor, use more ginger or simmer it for a longer time.
  • Other Teas: You can use black tea or herbal tea instead of green tea.
  • Spice Additions: Add a cinnamon stick or a few cardamom pods to the tea while brewing for extra flavor.
  • Sparkling Tea: Use sparkling water instead of plain water for a fizzy version.
